Stop struggling with staying consistent with habits. Join an accountability group.
You’ve been going about this alone. It hasn't been working. Join our free Group Accountability Program.
When it comes to breaking bad habits while starting on new good ones, you usually start with a spark of inspiration and energy, but it soon fizzles out. This leaves you frustrated and further from reaching your goals.
If I had to pick a single low-hanging piece of fruit that would yield game-changing results for you, I’d go with finding a community to keep you accountable, inspired, advised and supported.
Accountability: just having someone expecting you to check in with your progress is a huge booster. We’re social creatures and will do what it takes to not appear inconsistent and flakey.
Reassurance: it often feels like you’re alone in your struggle. You’re not. Hearing about other people’s similar journeys and obstacles can go a long way to motivate you.
Solid advice: sometimes, just the mention of a tool, method, resource or even an altered mindset can make a massive difference.
Support: it’s so easy to get jammed in our own heads as ruminate on our failures. A give-and-take of encouraging and uplifting words can break negative thought-loops, get you of your own way, and lead you to taking action.
So where can you find an effective support and accountability group? You can search around for groups on Reddit, Discord, etc… but you never know what the vibe is going to be like. Or… or…
You could join in on the free Habit Reframe Method – Group Accountability program. The next round starts this Friday (May 20, 2022).
In this 4-week program, you'll be placed in a small Discord server with like-minded peers on a similar journey.
You'll be required to submit a weekly check-in, designed for you to set goals for the upcoming week and to look back at the previous week to note what worked and what didn’t (remember the mantra Don’t get mad, get data?.. well, this is about implementing it into action).
It’s free, and doesn’t require a CC to join. If you miss a check-in however, you’ll be charged 100$ which will go to a charity. This stake system keeps you and the others in your group accountable, engaged and eliminates flake-outs (you know how disappointing and frustrating it is when you join a community based program and you’re the only one taking it serious…).
Last time we ran it, pretty much everyone saw tangible improvements in terms of dealing with procrastination and starting up on good lifestyle habits. Check out some reviews here and register here.
Best,
